This is where it all started. My first ever screen print. Age 16, still at school. Mr Woods \u2014 my art teacher \u2014 gave a talk about pop art, Warhol, the whole movement. Something clicked. I wanted to take that pop art sensibility and smash it into punk.<\/p>
The first version had no mohawk. Then I went to a Revillos concert in Aberdeen and met their roadie, Mitch. Huge blue mohawk, loads of piercings. I went home and added the mohawk straight away.<\/p>
There's a poster in the background for Valhallas \u2014 a nightclub I used to frequent in Aberdeen. A piece of my history embedded in the image.<\/p>
This design has lived with me for over 40 years. From school art room to screen print to digital. Redrawn in Procreate, finalised as vectors in Amadine. Original artwork, every time.<\/p>
